Probabilistic Record Linkage Using CODES 2000 Software

CODES 2000 software will be used to demonstrate the theory of probabilistic linkage and its application for highway safety.  Part I will focus on how probabilistic linkage works.  Part II will focus on validating the linkages, evaluating the false positives and false negatives, and determining the representativeness of the linked data for highway safety analyses.

ANSI D.16 Training

A training class was recently completed to provide guidance in interpreting the Manual’s definitions with actual traffic accident scenarios to demonstrate the Manual’s use in the “real world.” The training is designed for law enforcement and state or federal accident data classifiers. Several components of this training will be offered on Sunday.
