Reporting Thresholds and Their Consequences for Crash Analysis

The Value of Health Care Data to Highway Safety Information Professionals

More than 80 percent of government information is location-based.  Technologies for assigning accurate locations to crash events are becoming cheaper and more available at the same time that integration of public safety data is becoming a high government priority.  Entering crash data into a geographic information system (GIS) populated with a wide variety of other information provides highway safety analysts with a powerful analytical tool.
