Sergeant Darrin J. Naquin, Captain Ralph D. Mitchell, Jr., Louisiana State Police - Troop C

Ralph D. Mitchell, Jr. is the Troop Commander for the Louisiana State Police Troop C in Gray, Louisiana.  He was appointed to that position in December 2000.  Captain Mitchell has been the Crash Investigation/Accident Reconstruction Coordinator for the Louisiana State Police since 1990.  The Accreditation Commission of Traffic Accident Reconstructionists (ACTAR) accredits Captain Mitchell as an Accident Reconstructionist.  Caption Mitchell is a graduate of the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety’s School of Police Staff and Command and serves as an adjunct instructor for Northwestern in their Accident Investigation and Police Supervision Courses.  Captain Mitchell is also the Chairman of the Law Enforcement Committee for Operation Lifesaver, a national organization dedicated to reducing crashes at Highway/Rail Grade Crossings.
