Al Butler is President of MilePost Zero, a transportation consulting practice located in the metro Orlando area.  He was one of the panel experts that developed the NSDI standard and was hired by the US DOT to write the final standard and its implementation guidelines.  Mr. Butler is a certified planner (AICP) and a certified mapping scientist (ASPRS). With Dr. Ken Dueker of Portland State University, Mr. Butler developed the Enterprise GIS-T Data Model for developing multi-jurisdictional data systems.  Mr. Butler also serves as Visiting Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Florida.
