Edward Castillo is a Biostatistician for the County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Agency, Division of Emergency Medical Services. Mr. Castillo has a Masters degree in Public Health and is a PhD candidate in the San Diego State University/University of California at San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Public Health (Epidemiology). He is responsible for geographic and statistical analysis of prehospital data and conducts research activities for intermittent studies, grants, and collaborative projects. His previous research includes firearm deaths using geostatistical techniques and child pedestrian injury.
