Allen Parrish is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Alabama. He is one of the faculty directors of the CARE Project, a project that was pioneered by and is still actively directed by Dr. David B. Brown. 2002 marks the 20th anniversary of the CARE Project and its award winning CARE data analysis software (1982--2002).  Dr. Parrish's sponsors include the Alabama Department of Transportation, Department of Economic and Community Affairs and Department of Justice, as well as Highway Safety programs in a number of other states. CARE has been pioneered in six states, including Alabama, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Michigan and Tennessee.
