Bleach is the story of Ryuk who is a child who finds himself in the world of magic called Vestoria. He experiences death, reincarnation and other issues. The boy awakes his magic spirit, and discovers that he’s joined by seven spirits and includes Mio, his childhood friend. They fight the forces that threaten the Earth and work together to protect it. The gods pay a visit to Jubei the seventh of their members. Jubei wants to be the ruler of the universe. With the help of his fellow comrades, Ryuk is able to make a seal on Jubei and secure his power however, not before being consumed by the Fairy Realm.
Ryuk wakes up confused as his memory isn’t clear on how he came to be a human body. He witnesses the battle between his foes, and the forces of the good. He is shocked to see his childhood friend Mio and the three other members of the goddess clan, die. The knowledge of the events that took place renders Ryuk unable to take on the foe, and the other six members of the guild can lock him into the crystal. This is why Ryuk can only see the world through his mind however, he is unable to discern his real form because of the clashing colors.
When the group is taken to the dark dungeon, the next story starts. Six of the other members flee from the church, where their alliance has helped them escape. Elizabeth and seven other goddess clan members fight the church. They are easily defeated by Elizabeth. While the battle continues, the group finally manages to make it through the underground passages. While going through the tunnels, they meet their foe once more – Demon Lord Jubei.
The second episode, “The Seven Deadly Sins”, introduces us another character from the show: Hakusuru. Hakusuru is the father of Yoruichi Shihoin, the main character of the anime series. His body is severely damaged during the battle but He is able to kill two dangerous creatures and save Elizabeth. The story then concentrates on seven other deadly sins and their personalities.
